Certification & Building Control

The paperwork comes with the job

Full electrical installation certificate issued on completion to BS 7671, and we notify Building Control for you under Part P. No forms for you to fill in.

We are registered with a government-approved competent person scheme, so notifiable work is self-certified. Your Building Regulations compliance certificate is sent to you by the scheme, with nothing to chase.

Questions we get asked

Do you charge for a quote?

No. We come out, look at the job and send a written quote with the price broken down. The quote is the price you pay unless you change the scope.

Are you NAPIT registered?

Yes. We are NAPIT registered, which is Part P approved. Our work is independently assessed, notifiable work is certified and notified to building control for you, and certificates are issued on completion.

How quickly can you start?

Small jobs are usually within a few days. Rewires and larger works are booked in, and we give you a start date we will actually keep. Urgent same-day work goes to our emergency arm on the same number.

Do you tidy up after yourselves?

Dust sheets down, dust extraction on the chasing, and the house left as we found it. This is the single most common thing customers tell us other electricians got wrong.
